Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 July 2026

The agreement

These terms govern your use of Waypoint, a conversational project management service operated by Sparkways Solutions. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Waypoint lets you describe project activity in plain English and maintains your project records — statuses, effort, blockers, risks and reports — in response. Waypoint is currently in soft launch: features are evolving, and while we work hard to keep the service stable, we do not yet offer a formal service-level agreement.

AI-assisted changes

Waypoint uses AI to interpret your messages into proposed changes. Interpretation is not perfect: significant changes are presented for your confirmation before they are committed, and every change is recorded against the words that caused it. You are responsible for reviewing what Waypoint proposes and for the accuracy of the records you confirm.

Your account

Keep your login details secure and let us know promptly about any unauthorised use. You must be at least 16 and provide accurate account information.

Your data

The project data you put into Waypoint remains yours. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store the material you enter.

Plans and billing

Waypoint offers a free tier and paid plans with expanded limits. Prices and limits are shown on our website and may change with reasonable notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for. You can move between plans at any time — moving down does not delete your data, it simply reapplies the lower tier’s limits.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security or access other tenants’ data, no reselling of the service, and no use that degrades it for others. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.

Liability

Waypoint is provided “as is” during soft launch. To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Waypoint and request account deletion at any time. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
